VSHJ Passover Seder on Wednesday, April 16th

Everyone is welcome to join our annual community Passover celebration at the Jewish Community Centre of Victoria (3636 Shelbourne St.) on Wednesday, April 16th at 5:30 pm.

Our Passover seder includes a traditional Passover dinner, a non-traditional, humanistic haggadah, and lots of singing and schmoozing. 

The cost is $20 for VSHJ members; $30 for non-members; $10 for students, low income individuals, and children 6 – 12 years. Children under 6 years free. Family maximum (2 adults and children 12 years and under) is $65 for members and $80 for non-members. Reduced fees for special circumstances can be arranged.

A play corner for young children will be available if requested. Bring your own wine.

Pre-registration necessary by Monday, April 7th.

VSHJ Talk and Discussion on Sunday, March 30th

Alan Cassels, a Health Policy Journalist and an Associated Professional in Health Information Science at UVic will speak on the impact of pharmaceutical industry practices and drug benefits policies on the consumer. The title of his talk is “Drug Information Wars: Tales from the Front Lines of the Pharmaceutical World.”

Refreshments will be provided. Everyone is welcome.
