VSHJ Celebrates Jewish High Holidays

The Victoria Society for Humanistic Judaism, a Community of Cultural Jews, will celebrate the high holidays in a secular/humanistic way with services led by Ceremonial Leader, Sharon Kobrinsky and our resident musicians, Gary Cohen and Amber Woods (Kouskous: Jewish Music to Feed the Soul!).

Please join our celebration of Rosh Hashanah on Thursday, September 21st at 5:00 pm with secular/humanistic readings and music. A wonderful potluck supper will follow.

Please join our Yom Kippur service on Saturday, September 30th at 6:30 pm in the secular/humanistic tradition. This is always a very moving ceremony. We will break the fast with a wonderful potluck supper.

There is a suggested fee of $20.00 per holiday for non-members; reduced fee for low income people and students. Everyone is welcome.

Venue:  Jewish Community Centre of Victoria, 3636 Shelbourne St.
